I am a Sound-text artist from Oakland, California. My work explores the intersection between music, noise, sound and text in order to surface subterranean connotations and emotional resonances of language. My work is influenced by artists, and writers like:  Hugo Ball, Henri Chopin, John Cage, Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, Steve Reich, Dick Higgins, Richard Kostelanatz, Alvin Lucier,

Language

Poems, prose, sound compositions, concrete poems, infinite poems,  all of my work deals with language: its denotative weight,  its acoustic connotations, and  its physical form. I'm  interested in experimenting against its limits, shattering it, straining  past the morphemes, to find new textures, new meanings. I'm interested in language as an intersection, or pivot between different media. Sound of language, language of sound, writing with a paintbrush, or treating a blank  word document as a canvas, all are gestures that spark my curiosity and fuel my work.
